Attitude of Gratitude

By adopting an attitude of gratitude, we create a very special energy field around us that is in harmony with attracting to us the things we most desire.

It can be as simple as saying "thank you" to a stranger for holding a door open for you to walk through or nodding and smiling gratefully at a motorist that stops at a crossing for you to cross the road. However you do it, make sure you do it for everyone and everything that comes into your life, no matter how briefly.

What Does This Do?

an attitude of gratitudeIt may seem like nothing and on the face of it, saying thanks takes no effort at all, but it does have a positive effect on the person you're saying it to as well as on yourself. To give you an example that you can relate to, just remember the last person that thanked you for something and remember how you felt.

I'm pretty sure it made you feel good inside, didn't it?

That good feeling is essentially the result of where our energy field is in terms of its vibrational frequency. Remember, we and everything in existence is energy!

Since the Law of Attraction and its relation to our own personal frequency of vibration is closely linked to our emotional state, it makes sense that if we're feeling good, we're attracting more good to us. If a simple "thanks" can raise our vibration just a little by giving us a warm, good feeling, then that frequency is being transmitted by us to be received to anyone or anything on the same frequency.

Why Does This Work?

Again, everything is energy and when you take it down to the quantum level, we are all energy fields vibrating, transmitting and receiving on whatever frequency our emotional state dictates.

When we're happy, we vibrate on a much higher frequency than when we're sad. When we're angry, we're on an even lower frequency, but that can be raised when we release the anger and move into feelings of calmness and gratitude.

So our own emotional state of gratitude not only benefits the person we're showing that gratefulness to, it also benefits us!

So many people from all walks of life all around the world are trapped in a state of poverty and misery through their ignorance and lack of gratitude than just about any other cause. People suffer ill health and depression through their failure to show their gratefulness for their own existence!

What Should I Do?

If you want to change your life for the better, the first place to start is to change your attitude when it comes to giving thanks for everything you have and everything you are. Even if you have nothing, are sick and broke, life your head up and say thank you just for the simple fact that you are alive, which when you think about it, is in itself a miracle!

When you wake up every morning, be thankful for the fact that you have woken up, because you would not want to experience the alternative!

If you are wondering "who" to thank, that's up to you depending on your beliefs. But I would point out that you don't need to direct that thanks to anything or anyone in particular to experience the benefits of simply saying it.

When you get into the habit of being thankful for everything from the very least of things to the big things in life, you raise your energy and by being regularly in a state of gratitude, you keep yourself in a high energy state of goodness. This activates the law of attraction and is what you need to keep sending the signals out there that you are predominantly receptive to the good and by law, that good will find its way to you.

Be ever ready to show your gratitude and speak it with a good heart and you will experience like reciprocation in the attraction of good into your life in all manner of different ways.
